The FabFitFun Summer 2021 Box is being shipped next month! I went through the value of each of the customizations so you can check out the value of this season’s box. No surprise, it’s awesome as always!

FabFitFun Summer 2021 Customization and Spoilers!
The contents of your FabFitFun box are randomized unless you’re a Select Member. A FabFitFun Select membership is cheaper than paying for the seasonal subscription for a year, however, you have to pay in advance.
The FabFitFun Select Membership is $189 USD. This works out to about $250 CAD, plus you have to pay shipping costs which bring the total to about $300 CAD. This is not a small amount of money, but if you get as much value out of your FabFitFun membership as I do, it’s worth it! Only Select Members get to choose the customizations listed below.
If you opt for the seasonal membership, it’s $50 USD. If you’re outside of the US, it will be $10 USD in shipping per box. This comes to approximately $80 CAD. The items below will be randomized in your Summer 2021 box if you opt for this seasonal membership. However, seasonal membership is a nice way to try FabFitFun without committing very much money!
You’ll get $10 off your first box with this link, regardless of whether you choose the annual or seasonal membership.
Total Value of the FabFitFun Summer 2021 Box is $153 to $324USD
Based on the customization options below, your box will have a value of at least $153 to $334, depending on what you choose and what is chosen for you. This range goes from slightly lower than the FabFitFun Spring box.
Below is a breakdown of the value of each customization. All prices are in USD and I have bolded the highest value item in each customization.
Customization 1 (value $50 to $99 USD)
Here are the choices and their dollar value for the first FabFitFun Summer box customization:

I wasn’t super excited by many of these choices, except for the PMD BeautyClean. I have an old Clarisonic Mia that I never replaced the brushes for so stopped using, but have seen the PMD products at Sephora and have wanted to try them out. I also love love love the bright teal color so I’m sold!

Customization 2 always seems to be the goldmine for me. I like so many things on this list! However, I also already have so many things on this list.
I’ve been a FabFitFun subscriber for a few years, and eventually they do start re-using items from past boxes and past add-ons. This is awesome because you get a second chance at things you may have missed the first time around, but can be a bummer when you already got all the good stuff.
I already have the Milly Jewelry Case, workout bands, the Tarte Drink of H2O moisturizer, and the Business & Pleasure cooler from previous fff boxes! I also already have a bluetooth speaker so I don’t need another. This basically only leaves 3 things on this list for me.
I think the nightie is hideous so I’m skipping that, but I think I will order both the Rae Dunn bowls and the Ouai shampoo & scalp massager. I have lots of Rae Dunn mugs in my kitchen so the bowls will be a nice edition, especially for the summer! And I love Ouai products so I I’m very excited for the shampoo since I know I’ll be able to add it on at a very good price.

I love love love every time BaubleBar shows up in a FabFitFun box! They have been one of my favorite online jewelry stores for nearly a decade. I’m definitely getting the Bauble Bar BYOB Build Your Own Bracelet Kit. I think I may also add on the SuperGoop Sunscreen because I think it will be a great price as an add-on and it’s super expensive at Sephora!
I already have the blue light blocking glasses from a previous fff box. I am interested in the dry shampoo, and the Malin+Goetz moisturizer, but I’ll have to see how I want to allocate my budget for this box before I add any more things!
Customization 4 (Annual Subscribers Only) $22 to $65 USD

This was an easy choice for me: I’m getting the SOAR selfie Ring Light. My desktop computer has me facing a wall, so my face hasn’t been well lit on Zoom calls. Now that I’m doing so many media appearances and speaking engagements virtually, I need better lighting! I may also add the Flight Mode High Altitude hydration mask.
I have the Eparé cutting board set from a previous fff box and to be perfectly honest, I’m not very impressed with them.

How to get these FabFitFun items without signing up for FabFitFun
FabFitFun is a huge program with over 1 million subscribers. Not everyone chooses to customize their box, or even wants all the items when they do, so it’s not uncommon for the extras to end up elsewhere on the web where you can purchase them at a discount!
If you like any of the items listed above but don’t want to pay full price from the retailer (or they’re out of stock), make sure to check sites like eBay. Be careful with cosmetics and lotions though, as those may have been opened and used. Yuck!
Important Dates!
There are some dates to keep in mind when ordering and customizing your fff Summer Box!
Select Member Add-Ons May 6 to May 10
Add-Ons let you add on additional items to be shipped with your FabFitFun Box. If you’re a Canadian customer like me, this is the best way to get FabFitFun items without having to pay any extra shipping costs.
I love and hate add-ons. While I like to get extra items in my fff boxes, I find it’s easy for me to get carried away by adding things to my box and spending more than I wanted. I set a budget of $35 to $50 USD every season for add-ons, and force myself to stick to it.
Select Member Customization May 7 to May 10
Customization is for all the choices I listed above! If you’re a Select Member and on the annual membership plan, you’ll get to choose which of the above items you want in your FabFitFun Summer 2021 Box.
Seasonal Member Add-Ons
If you’re a seasonal member, your add-ons opens about 2 weeks later. A lot of the best items will be sold out at this point. However, because people are always changing their carts up until the last day, watching your favorites list closely might give you the chance to snag items last minute!
Seasonal Member Customization
If you’re a seasonal member, your customization opens about 2 weeks later. It’s possible some of the items will be sold out by this point, so you have fewer choices than Select Members.

I forgot to add that seasonals can customize up to category 4 and annuals can customize the entire now. These are new changes for this season! You can also swap your box for credit an unlimited amount of times to use for sales, refills, add-ons, etc.
